How We Met

Online Dating Really Works!

We met, believe it or not, online! The app we used; that's not important but, for those that must know the App was Plenty of Fish. It was honestly Love at first sight for both of us. We had an instant connection, that feeling you get when you just know; this is right, this is the person I have been searching for! After our first meet, we pretty much became inseparable. We live about an hour and a half apart, we have very busy schedules so we would try and meet about halfway get dinner and talk. As we got to know each other better; that long drive seemed to get shorter and before long the drive just became apart of our busy lives. We both love to travel and see the world and we have made every attempt to get away and do that. No regrets, we want to live life to the fullest, laugh and be happy.

Proposal in Times Square

Completely Surprised and Blown Away!

Visiting New York at Christmas is always amazing and beautiful. However, Jon had a trick up his sleeve. We were in town visiting my friends and unbeknownst to me I was going to be proposed to in Times Square, not only that but he asked me by having it put on a Huge billboard!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!

Girly Girl/ Tom Boy ;)

Annamarie Smith

Raised on a 60-acre farm with my two older brothers life was great in little old Gallipolis Ohio. (my home town) Mom gave up her job as a substitute teacher so she could home school us with some other ladies who shared the same dream. (Thier kids would later become my best friends and are still to this day) Life was always an adventure and I wouldn't have changed it for the world. I absolutely loved playing with my 53 cats, (each one with a different name handed picked by yours truly) catching crawfish, and growing my (at the time) massive bug collection. The other side of me, however, included practicing my nail painting skills and dressing up anything pink....like everyday for over a year pink lol. In 2015 I finished school and landed a job in surgery at UK hospital in Lexington (a city I'd only been to once) feeling God's leading I left everything in Ohio and started on a new adventure. And In the fall of 2017 (October 3rd to be exact) God lead me to "his" perfect plan for me (Jon-Michael Turner Clark). :) Since Jon and I met I've been Pursuing my love for animals by Volunteering at the humane society and One day soon hope to start fostering little kittens again:) I can't wait to start my life as a farm girl again;)

About Jon

Jon-Michael Turner Clark

I grew up on our families 50-acre farm in Mount Washington, KY and it was amazing! I started driving tractors when I was 4! Growing up I was always out looking for the next big adventure or the next big idea. As I got older flying and technology started to get my attention. I learned to fly remote-controlled airplanes. I was heavily involved in my church. At 16, I started taking flying lessons. Upon graduating, I attended flight school in Florida and received my commercial pilot and flight instructor certificates. After attending the University of Louisville, I founded a technology and engineering firm called Louisville Tech. I enjoy traveling, flying, being outdoors, and trying new things. Most things I enjoy doing, I was doing alone. I was struggling to find someone that met my expectations, morals, and lifestyle. I had about given up looking for someone. Until a friend suggested I try online dating. I tried it but, It didn’t seem to be helping. Then out of nowhere, I received a message from a really cute girl! Her profile was well written, she was from a Christian background, and she loved to travel! I was a bit shocked; it was unusual for a girl to ever message me first. Long story short that cute girl was Annamarie! We talked for hours that evening. After about a week we decided to meet in person. I have been told by many people when you meet the right person, you will just know. I honestly didn’t believe them and I didn’t understand what they were talking about. But, l instantly knew from the very first time I met Anna; that she was the one. She is a very special person, and she is the woman I have asked God to send my direction. We have since had so much fun traveling, going to the lake, cooking, learning ballroom dancing and really just enjoying life and making the most of it. After we are married we hope to be able to live on the Clark farm, eventually start a family and see where life takes us next.
