It all started on the first day of school in a Yearbook class at Bloomsburg High School in 2012. For Amanda, it was love at first sight (or maybe it was love at the sound of his Southern Accent...). After being together for one year in high school, Amanda moved to Millersville, and later Towson, to attend college and graduate school respectively, and Jon moved to Wilkes-Barre to complete his degree. Over the years, we battled a long distance relationship, stressful academic programs, major time commitments to extracurriculars, and so much more. To say the least, distance makes the heart grow fonder, and we were finally able to close that distance. Together, we moved to the Fort Lauderdale, FL area in July 2019 so Amanda could attend school for her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, and Jon began working as an athletic trainer. We adopted our first baby (fur baby, that is), Mia, on August 30th, 2019 just days before Category 5 Hurricane Dorian was supposed to hit South Florida! After being together for nearly 8 years, Jon proposed on the beach in Key West on July 18th, 2020. The three of us are enjoying Florida life with nightly sunset walks around the neighborhood, countless beach and pool days coupled with sun tans (and burns), and all the adventures that South Florida has to offer. We are so excited to be able to start yet another adventure together, and we hope you will celebrate it with us!
