Our love story has its roots in Portugal, where we embarked on missions for our church that brought us together as friends. Little did we know that this friendship would later evolve into something deeper and more meaningful. After our missions ended and we went our separate ways, fate intervened and rekindled our connection a few months later. As we reconnected, we both realized that what we shared had the potential to be so much more than just friendship. Our journey has been nothing short of magical, and we're thrilled to begin this next chapter as partners in life.

The proposal was a moment filled with sweet nostalgia and unexpected surprises. Taking inspiration from Rebecca's parents, Jonah whisked us away on a romantic picnic with our favorite sushi and Diet Coke. He arranged for our friend Sam, armed with a camera, to be there to capture the moment. After the picnic they went for a walk and Rebecca's eyes met Sam's camera, leading her to realize that something more was going on. Just as she was trying to process the delightful surprise of Sam's presence and a beautiful flower backdrop, Jonah seized the moment. He teasingly knelt down on one knee as if to tie his shoe. After a playful shove from Rebecca, he presented a beautiful ring. The combination of nostalgia and surprise created a perfect, cherished memory of our engagement.
