When is the RSVP cut-off?

Answer

Please mail your response cards so they arrive by no later than August 1, 2022.

Question

Do all guests have to be “fully vaccinated” against COVID-19 in order to attend all events?

Answer

YES! By August 15th, please send an email with a photo of the vaccination card for each guest to jomacvax@gmail.com. The wedding venue will deny entrance to anyone who has not sent in proof of full vaccination.

What does “fully vaccinated” mean?

Answer

A person is considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after the (a) second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer- Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines ; or (b) single dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine. Boosters are strongly encouraged. See the CDC website for explanation of what it means to be “up-to-date on your vaccinations”: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/stay-up-to-date.html#recommendations Please be on the alert for updated information on the website as we get closer to the event.

When should I arrive at the wedding venue on Sunday, September 4?

Answer

Between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Black-tie optional; dancing shoes required!

Question

Will any part of the wedding ceremony or reception be outdoors?

Answer

No; all wedding events are indoors.

Where should I park at the wedding venue?

Answer

Free parking may be found on the street on Hubbard or Grand. “Spot Hero” paid parking may be reserved in advance by searching for parking near the intersection of Morgan and Kinzie streets.

Are the wedding and Monday brunch locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes.

Question

What should I wear to other events, including community service?

Answer

Except for the wedding itself, everything will be casual. For the community service event, comfortable clothes, good for working in the sand or dirt is great.

Are children invited?

Answer

We would love to have your kids join you over the weekend, but no children under 13 can attend the wedding ceremony/reception. Please contact Jonah’s mom, Gay Sigel, in advance, if you need to arrange for a babysitter.
