Married in 2020...but we're ready to party now!

What started off as a "not necessarily a date" blind date, blossomed into a beautiful marriage. Ciara was visiting her family in New England for the summer when she first met Jonah. The two were brought together by Ciara's uncle Kirk who worked with Jonah on the USS Minnesota. Kirk approached Jonah one afternoon at work and told him about his niece that was in town and was looking to make friends over the summer. Jonah quickly shot down this offer to hang out with her and said, "I don't do blind dates." She reached out a second time to see if Jonah would come around. Jonah did, even if it was reluctantly so. Their first "not a date" date in June of 2018 was spent walking up and down all the historic streets of downtown Mystic, CT getting to know everything about each other, and the rest was history!
