Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off, so we please ask that you leave them behind!

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men. Please no blue jeans, shorts, flip flops, etc. We do also ask that you avoid wearing light blue & white as it will be reserved for the bridal party.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be hosted indoors at the same location. Cocktail hour will potentially be outside weather permitting.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We ask for phones to be put away during the ceremony, our wonderful photographer & videographer will be capturing the special moment. Post ceremony we invite you to take all the photos and videos you want! We encourage use of the photo booth and digital cameras we will be providing to help the bride and groom capture all the fun of the night!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a plus one when you RSVP through Zola then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

No - since both our ceremony and reception are in the same location we will not have a time gap. After the ceremony you will be directed towards the back of the venue & outside to enjoy cocktail hour while the staff is flipping the space for dinner/dancing!

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is April 14th 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

There is ample street parking & garages in downtown Milwaukee, but there is not a reserved parking lot at our venue. Give yourself sufficient time to find parking if you plan on driving.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the service?

Answer

If you are staying in the Hyatt hotel block, yes, there is a shuttle that will run to and from the hotel before the ceremony and after the reception. For all other hotels/accommodations there is not booked transportation, but ubers are in abundance downtown! *All hotel blocks we have reserved are less than a mile from the venue.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have hotel blocks at both the Hyatt & Westin in Downtown Milwaukee. Details can be found on the Travel tab of our website.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes! We will have plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions, but reach out to Jonah or Carolyn for any dietary restrictions we should be aware of!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be a full open bar! We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, our registry is linked at the top of our wedding website. A wedding card box will also be at our reception.
