By: Jonah During the summer of 2016, Kevin Durant devastated the hearts of all Oklahomans by spurning us for another lover. Unbeknownst to me, Kevin Durant's unfortunate decision would be the start of our story. The beginning of our junior year at Oklahoma State was kicked off with a blue-themed party. It was quite the enjoyable event! However, to my surprise, I noticed a girl wearing a blue Kevin Durant jersey. I approached and nicely asked why she was wearing such a traitorous piece of apparel. She responded that it was her only blue piece of clothing (I don't think she cared about Durant leaving as much as me). Eventually our conversation moved beyond the NBA, and we figured out we had many things in common. We left the event and went to Fuzzy's for some chips and queso, where a real connection was discovered. So, thank you Kevin Durant. I consider us even, without you I would have never met the love of my life.

By: Adrianna Sometime in October 2019, Jonah told me he was going to a business conference at the end of November in New York City. He suggested I fly up once his conference was over and we spend a few days exploring the city. Now I knew he was planning on proposing in the near future, but I truly didn't think he would do it when we were in New York. For some reason I convinced myself, "He can't do it that weekend, we will be out of town!" Looking back, that logic makes no sense. The first full day I was there, we decided to visit Central Park. When we got to the park, we walked onto a bridge nearby and I noticed a photographer taking photos of the landscape and skyscrapers. I didn't think anything of it since we were at such a tourist-y spot. As we walked onto the bridge and closer to the photographer, Jonah asked him if he would take a picture of us. When Jonah went to hand the guy his iPhone, the photographer suggested he use his camera instead. Before I knew it, Jonah was down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It was truly magical and one of my favorite memories.
