Just your typical Saint Mary's and Norte Dame love story! Jonah attended the University of Notre Dame, while Madison is across the street at Saint Mary's college. Only a mile away from each other and a few bump ins at parties, but it was not until the beginning of senior year when Madison had a birthday for her best friend at her apartment and a friend of a friend brought Jonah! It was that night that Madison and Jonah became good friends and even have a polaroid picture to commemorate this night. They had a great last year of college together before taking on the big city of San Francisco after graduating!

The Proposal

Many of you may know that Madison is a type A planner and Jonah is not quite a planner himself. Jonah knew he had to be clever if he was going to pull off an epic proposal for a girl with such high standards. Valentine's Day was around the corner and Madison decided to plan a beautiful getaway to their favorite place, Lake Tahoe. She booked the resort and even the Valentine's Day dinner. They were both thrilled for their weekend getaway together! They had the best weekend and when Valentine's Day came, Jonah gifted Madison with a photoshoot by the lake. Great Madison gift. Jonah did well! She had no idea and was so excited to get photos in their favorite spot. You can predict the rest...but during the photoshoot Jonah got down on one knee and popped the question! The surprise on Madison's face was priceless and thank goodness the photographer got a video and pictures for the memories!
