Bridesmaid
Stephanie was my first friend in Austin. Her now brother-in-law put us in touch when I moved to Austin, five years ago. We went hiking at Walnut Creek one day, where she shared her testimony and I was taken back by her story and realness with a stranger. She's been a constant in my life. A prayer warrior, truth-teller, shoulder to cry on, she allows me to be me, accountability, lover of whiskey and old fashion's, travel buddy, and real. She's a gem and her friendship means the world to me.

I met Lo through her now-husband Thomas, five years ago. I was in his missional community group at Austin Stone. He said she was looking for solid girlfriends, so I reached out one day to meet up and we've been friends since. She's a spicey girl who seeks the Lord, has a heart of gold, is real, prays, plays soccer, is a lover of wine, allows me to be me, cherishes family, and is an amazing mom and wife. Through life's ups and downs, moving, traveling we've managed to stay connected and I've truly cherished that.

Michael and I were in a community group together through Red Rocks back in 2015. He was the only one I connected with because he welcomed deep conversation, was from California, and loves coffee. When I moved back to Colorado 2 years ago, I found out he was my sister's friend's roommate; small world! He then invited me to their 4th of July party and that's where we reconnected. He shared his heart with me and told me it was ok to cry. God crafted this friendship in such a cool way. He's solid, reliable, seeks God's face, allows me to be me, enjoys the finer things in life, appreciates and has great style, is an old soul, and is super creative. Nothing is TMI with us. He's just cool He loves all things French and is single ladies!

David has broken me more than anyone else....An arm, multiple gashes over my body, and plenty of emotial scarring.... But seriously, David has been one of my best and closest friends for more than half my life. I have been able to visit him and his family as they love on people around the world. From camping on volcanoes, to backpacking on the beach, to horseback riding in one of the windiest places on the planet, we have had some awesome adventures. I am truly blessed to have someone so wise and caring to speak wisdom into my life!

Matt has been a solid friend for much of my life. We love exploring the mountains and outdoors, fly-fishing, shooting targets, and having deep conversation around the fire pit. Matt loves God and loves people so well and speaks truth into my life.

Steve and I connected in a dusty, dirty "break room" in Saudi Arabia as we discovered many "small-world" connections we had. Only a couple of years later, he married my cousin and good friend Kelli! We have had incredible conversations all around the world and have connected on our love for flying, adventuring and seeking true life through the Gospel.

Peter has had incredible influence in my life. He took me under his wing when I was a teenager and chose to speak life, leadership and wisdom into me. Now, Peter and his wife Jill, have provided marriage counseling for me and Whitney and have chosen to come alongside and continue to invest in us as a couple. Peter has consistently invited me to participate in leadership trainings and disciple making in places like Bangladesh, India and Indonesia. Peter is hilarious and we consistently enjoy hanging out and having conversations about challenging topics over new, unique foods, as he continues to invest in my life.

David and I met when he spoke at my Fellowship of Christian Athletes group in High School. Later, I found him on a Flight Instructor list and hired him to teach me to fly. David chose not only teach me, but rather to mentor and disciple me in my career, in leadership and in my personal life. David has consistently put his personal preferences aside so that he could promote, encourage and provide opportunities for me. There is no way that I could've been so successful in my career without David's influence in my life. I am incredibly grateful for him and so glad that he has chosen to be a part of this!
