Best Man

Jon’s 17-year-old son, who's just four days shy of officially becoming an "adult" (we’re skeptical too). Tristan loves hunting, fishing, football, and lifting weights—mostly to maintain strength for his favorite sport: arguing passionately with his parents (no clue where he inherited that from). He's known for wandering in and out of the house at mysterious hours like a friendly ghost. We're excited to see where life takes him, assuming he figures it out eventually.

Rayce Palecek

Groomsman

Jodi’s 17-year-old son, standing tall at an impressive 5'11" (for this family) takes great joy in looking down at the tops of our heads. His current passions are football at Chi Hi and spending time with his girlfriend. Rayce tends to be elusive, but the daily 15-minute sessions of random, useless trivia make his fleeting appearances worthwhile. He also excels in track and field, recently discovering he can high jump over his mom. As a child, Rayce aspired to live in a van down by the river; we're still not entirely sure if he's updated that dream or decided on college instead (we're crossing our fingers).

Maid of Honor

Jodi’s spirited 15-year-old daughter, whose heart has always belonged to sports, particularly track and basketball. Born with striking red hair (a feature she might trade away if given the chance) Rayya navigates life with a unique blend of sass and sweetness with a splash of annoying her bother on the side. We are looking forward to the next 60 hours of parental drive time over the next year to reach the next milestone of teenage independence.

Sophia Brunt

Bridesmaid

Jon’s delightful 15-year-old daughter who dances to the beat of her own sweet, quirky drum. Her passions include drawing, animals, theater, and the artful skill of annoying her brother. Sophia once famously stopped talking—an incredible feat that lasted a whole two minutes about three years ago. We're eagerly awaiting her driving adventures next year, provided she can actually see over the steering wheel.
