We’re getting married!

We met in a class at CSULB that was actually just an upper general education class since we didn’t share the same majors. Diane was running late to the class and decided to sit in one of the last seats in the back that just so happened to be next to Jon. She made the first move and talked to him and his friends. On the way out of class, we were walking together and Diane had called her sister, “ate”. It immediately caught Jon’s attention because he didn’t know she was Filipino too. Diane invited him to a filipino club meeting and asked for his number even though he didn’t end up going. 🙃 And the rest was history 🇵🇭👫🏻

We were celebrating our 7 year dating anniversary at Yosemite National Park. Our first full day there, we did the 8 mile hike up to Yosemite Falls. It was a grueling treck up the mountain but worth it at the top with beautiful views of the waterfall and overlook of the national park. We were able to slip away to a private spot next to the waterfall when Jon popped the question! 🥰
