When will the wedding ceremony start?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will start promptly at 3PM. Guests can start arriving at the venue around 2:30 PM for family and friends to get to know each other prior to the ceremony starting.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be business casual, jeans are fine. Please dress for the weather as the venue is outside.

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Yes! The wedding will be outside please dress appropriately and bring sunscreen/sunglasses if needed. The venue, Starlit Heights, has a large pavilion that will provide shade during the reception but the wedding ceremony will be outside and uncovered.

What if it rains?

Answer

While we are hoping and praying that it does not rain Kentucky weather is not easily predictable. In the event of heavy rainfall we will move the wedding ceremony under the pavilion at Starlit Heights.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

There will be no alcohol at our wedding. There are multiple reasons for this, but at the end of the day this was our decision and we ask that you please respect it and abstain from bringing and or consuming alcohol during our special occasion. Thank you!

Can I bring a guest(s)?

Answer

If we have not extended a +1 to you or your family we ask that you please not bring others. There is limited seating and we are anticipating a full crowd. If you feel an exception needs to be made please contact us directly. Jon (502) 294-4130 Hannah (859) 324-0011

What about Covid?

Answer

Our goal is to have a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone. We are monitoring the situation closely and will make accommodations as necessary to make everyone feel safe and protected. Please continue to check our website for updates and call or text us for further questions.

Are face masks required?

Answer

This could change, but at this point we ask that you wear a mask to the wedding/reception and respect others personal space especially those who are more at risk. It's okay to remove your mask at your table while eating or drinking, but please wear it while getting up and socializing with others.

Where can I send my gift to Jon and Hannah?

Answer

The preferred method of gift delivery will be to Jon & Hannah's apartment in Lexington prior to the wedding. Jon & Hannah 3401 Gatewood Ct. APT 52 Lexington, KY 40517 Even though Jon is the only one currently living there rest assured, Hannah made Jon pinky promise not to open any wedding gifts without her. If you would like to bring your gift to the wedding in person there will be a designated area for gifts upon arrival.

Is smoking/vaping allowed?

Answer

Smoking and or vaping will be allowed in designated smoking areas ONLY. Please do not smoke or vape in areas not designated as such, we will ask you to put it out or away.

Are pets allowed?

Answer

As much as we love your furry friends please leave all pets at home. Only service animals will be allowed. Sorry!
