Our Story

Joseph and Lindsay met on June 6th, 2016. They were both brought on to work at Brandon Tomes Subaru by the Service Manager, Edmond Elder, who happens to be Joseph's best friend of 20 years. It only took five months for them to realize they wanted to be together, and after another five months, Lindsay finally met Liam as more than just dad's co-worker; as dad's girlfriend. Their love as a family continued to grow and January 4th, 2018 they purchased their first home together. With this new home has come many new struggles that have tested them as a family, however they continue to remember how important they are to each other. As anyone will tell you, Joseph and Lindsay have known they were meant to spend the rest of their lives together since the very beginning. On September 15th, Joseph presented Lindsay with the most beautiful ring she'd ever seen in her life, and saying yes was as easy as breathing. The love, support, and encouragement from family and friends along the way has been the chocolate sauce on our ice cream sundae. Thank you, and we love you all!

Our Venue

High West Distillery

High West Distillery, our chosen wedding site, is known for their accolade and award winning whiskey. Founders Jane and David Perkins have dedicated High West to preserving and promoting the American West. Among their efforts includes donating 10% of their after tax profits from the sale of American Prairie Bourbon to The American Prairie Reserve in northeastern Montana, which assembles the largest wildlife reserve in the lower 48 states. Please visit HighWest.com to learn more about the company, it's staff, as well as where to buy.

And More

Blue Sky Ranch

High West Distillery is located at Blue Sky Ranch, a 3,500 acre ranch in the Wasatch Mountain Range owned by Barbara Phillips. Barbara, after rescuing 14 horses herself, created the nonprofit Saving Gracie Equine Healing Foundation, to which she is the founder and executive director. With the help of Hattie Cole and Amanda Herbert, Barbara has rescued over 30 additional horses since the foundations formal creation in 2015 from various states, including Nevada and Texas! Rescuing and rehabilitating horses is an open-ended endeavor to which Barbara and her team will continue to exhaust all efforts, however help is always needed. To learn more about the Saving Gracie Foundation and how to help, please visit http://www.savinggraciefoundation.org/ Remember, no donation is too small!
