Definitely climb up to the little church on the hilltop to get a great view of the region all the way to the Mont Ventoux.

Le Sentier des Ocres (Roussillon)
Discover the ocre colors! Either here at the Sentier des Ocres in Roussillon, which is a very pretty village to visit by itself, or in the Colorado Provençal, closer to Apt.
Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque
A monastery with architecture from the Middle Ages in a gorgeous setting behind lavender fields.
Lourmarin
If you arrive on Thursday or earlier, head to Lourmarin on Friday morning. The weekly market there is satisfyingly buzzy and offers something for everyone. There’s also the castle, but then again, you don’t want to be late for the wedding!
Étang de la Bonde
Fancy a swim? Cross the Luberon and jump into this big teal puddle right at the foot of the mountains.
Pont du Gard
About an hour drive, but worth the trip is the ancient roman monument Pont du Gard. You can explore the national park around it by foot, or book canoe or kayak trips with Canoë Collias or Kayak Vert.

Lacoste
Glimpse at the old castle of the Maquis de Sade surrounded by weird sculptures and take in another view. The village is cute too and has a few art galleries.
