If you have additional questions at this time, please text Elizabeth (the maid of honor) at 630-903-0507.
Question

Where can I find your registry?

Answer

Please copy and paste this URL to access our registry: www.myregistry.com/giftlist/jollyholidaywithmary

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear formal attire, choosing a suit, a dress or an elegant pantsuit. We suggest guests avoid white, ivory, cream, or champagne-colored dresses and light-colored suits. Longer dresses are encouraged.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! All children under 18 are welcome and invited! There is also no obligation to bring your children if you'd prefer a night out. If your invitation or RSVP is missing one or more children, please contact us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space at the church, we advise guests to only bring dates if included in the RSVP.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend giving yourself plenty of time by arriving around 12:35-12:45.

Question

Where should I park for the ceremony?

Answer

Able-bodied guests who arrive early are encouraged to park on Silverleaf Blvd or Electric Ave near the church. The church also has a parking lot.

Question

Who can take eucharist/communion at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

From https://allsouls.com/visitor-center/ (our church's website): All baptized Christians, including children, who repent of their sins and seek to live in love, charity, and peace with their neighbors are welcome to receive the bread, the cup, or both. Any who wish not to receive the Sacrament may come to the altar rail with arms crossed to receive a blessing. We receive the bread in our hands and guide the cup to our mouths by holding the bottom rim. We do not intinct, or dip, the bread in the cup. Gluten-free wafers are available upon request.

Question

How much time will there be between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Our current plan includes about a 1.5-hour gap. This gives guests plenty of time to mingle and make their way to the Carlisle for cocktail hour. The bride and groom will use this time to get additional photos and spend quality time together. Feel free to check out the "Things To Do" page with specific ideas on where you can go if you find yourself needing inspiration!

Question

How do I get to the reception venue?

Answer

Your favorite maps app should provide adequate instructions, but anticipate on turning onto Fairfield Rd and taking a side street to the Carlisle. There is more than enough parking on the west and south sides of the building.

Question

What time should I arrive for the cocktail hour/reception?

Answer

This answer might change as the date draws closer. For now, we request guests to arrive at The Carlisle no earlier than 3:30 PM.

Question

Will there be alcohol at the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

Yes, a cash bar will be available for guests to purchase their favorite drinks. Guests can use cash or card to make their purchases.

Question

I have a food allergy! Can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! You can let us know in your RSVP.

Question

Is Luke's dog in the wedding?

Answer

Luke's dog Daisy will not make an appearance at the wedding, but she would probably love to meet you at some point!
