What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into the San Jose Airport (SJC). It's just 30 minutes away from our venue, and even closer to the hotels we've reserved. We also encourage you to extend your trip and explore all the Bay Area has to offer! You can easily fly out of San Francisco (SFO) or Oakland (OAK) depending on where you want to end your trip.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you'll be in town for just the weekend and are planning on staying within the San Jose area, you can get around pretty easily with Lyft/Uber and (some) public transportation. You can also travel to San Francisco easily via Cal Train. (Please visit www.caltrain.com for more information.) If you’re planning on staying a bit longer, or if you'd like to venture to several spots within the Bay Area, we do suggest renting a car.

Will there be transportation to and from your wedding?

Yes! We want everyone to enjoy our wedding responsibly! Please feel free to use the code below to catch a Lyft to and from the venue: HALLIEJOSH2019 Before calling your car, enter the code in the Promos section in the main menu of the Lyft app. It will apply a $30 credit provided that you call it on June 23rd between 2:00pm-11:00pm, and your pickup or drop off location is Saratoga Springs. Because Saratoga Springs is in the mountains, reception isn't always ideal, but Verizon works well and there is wifi available near the front entrance.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We’ve decided to include children at both the ceremony and reception. If your children grow restless during the ceremony, we ask that you guide them to a different part of the venue to keep them happy and entertained!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. The venue is outdoors, and we’ll be eating dinner at wooden picnic tables with long benches. So please feel free to dress in something you’re comfortable in, and we recommend the ladies leave their high heels at home! Although it will be June, the weather in the Bay Area can be unpredictably chilly, so we also recommend bringing a sweater or jacket.

Is there cell reception at the venue?

Answer

Verizon is the only carrier that gets full service at Saratoga Springs. There is free wifi available towards the entrance of the venue, which guests can use to call Lyft rides home.

Can I drive myself to your wedding?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available at the venue. You may also leave your car there overnight, but it must be picked up by 9am the next morning.

From SF/Palo Alto: Take Hwy 280 S or Hwy 101 S Merge onto Hwy 85 S Exit Saratoga Ave. Turn right on Saratoga Ave. Stay on Saratoga Ave. for about 2 miles Saratoga Ave. becomes Hwy 9/Big Basin Way.
