What is the dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to see our family and friends dressed to impress for our special day! The dress code is semi-formal black attire: ladies are welcome to wear floor-length, tea-length, or mini black dresses, while gentlemen should also don black attire. Please, no jeans or colored attire!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of specified immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, two specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please ensure your RSVP is submitted by August 23, 2025. This will allow us ample time to make accommodations and finalize our plans for the celebration. Thank you for your understanding!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

You can find our registry linked on the website under the "Registry" tab. We are registered at Amazon, Target, Crate and Barrel, and here through Zola. Contributions to our honeymoon fund or house renovation fund are also warmly appreciated!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is ample parking available at Douglas Manor, although we strongly encourage guests who are consuming alcohol to utilize Uber and Lyft responsibly.

What time does the wedding start?

Answer

The wedding begins at 5pm central time. Anyone who has not arrived or has been seated at this time will be held behind as to not interrupt the ceremony.
