We’re getting married

We came across each other over one of our common friend’s Facebook status in 2011. From that moment we bonded and became friends. At some point we both realized that we had feelings for each other, but we were in denial. Three years later, we came to realize how much we both meant to each other and that is when we decided to define our relationship on the 20th of May, 2014.

Two days after Valentine’s Day, he sent me a message with an address and instructions on bringing some good clothes to change because we were spending the weekend at the hotel. I went home after school gathered a few dresses and joined him. He sent me a room number. As I entered the room, there were candles and the bed was filled with flowers, chocolates, and a few teddy bears. Being a chocolate lover, I rushed to opening one of the boxes and as I turned back to ask him why there were so many chocolate boxes, he was on his knee with the ring in his hands. I shed tears of joy and said always because I had said yes since 05.20.14.
