Andrew and I first met in Mrs. Crandall's 8th grade English class at Hillside Middle School. It was flirting at first sight. I wore a Barbie shirt the first day, and Andrew, in the back row, with a beard, sunglasses, and Che Guevara shirt said "Hey Barbie. Where's Ken?" Initially shocked that a strikingly handsome grown man flirting with me, I blushed and said " I dumped him". After weeks of flirting Andrew asked me for my phone number. We would spend all night on the phone, sharing our beliefs, giggling, sending songs... until Patsy would pick up the land line "GONZO GET OFF THE PHONE!". I was not allowed to date until I was 16, so Andrew was my boyfriend when I turned 16. We have grown a lot since those days. Life has taken us each different places, but always back to one another. The love is real. We are so thankful to God for the love He has given us and the opportunity to stand before Him in Holy Matrimony.
