Yes. Due to Rhode Island state regulations, all guests who are not vaccinated will be required to provide a negative COVID test result, within 48 hours of the wedding. The test can be rapid! All guests that are vaccinated DO NOT have to provide a test!
There are a couple options of where to get tested in Newport! This location is closest to the Bohlin and has been great for clients for a rapid testing/walk-in option: Brown and Howard Wharf. You do not have to get tested in Newport! You can get tested in your own state on Thursday (2 days before the wedding!). Any CVS or Walgreens is acceptable to get tested, along with any local testing site! Yes, there is transportation from The Hotel Viking in Newport, the Hampton Inn and the Howard Johnson in Middletown. Transportation from the Howard Johnson & The Hampton Inn (they share a parking lot) Pickup is 4:45PM Transportation from The Viking Pick up is 5:00PM
Guests can start arriving to the ceremony at The Bohlin at 5:00pm on Saturday May 29th. The ceremony will start at 5:30pm.
Yes, the dress code for the wedding is formal attire! As the venue is outside in a tent and on the water - it can get pretty chilly, especially at night! Please plan accordingly for this!
