it's about time

According to Alex, our wedding is actually the final step in his 24-year grand plan to meet, date, break-up, date again, move-in together, get engaged and ultimately, marry me. I, Jolie, attempted to outline this decades-long scheme, quickly surpassing Zola’s 4000 character limit, so here are the cute highlights everyone likes to hear about: we were in the same class in 1st and 3rd grade, went to senior prom as friends, dated for about a year, broke up for the rest of college, reunited in 2016 (we split the bill but I maintain it was a date) and in February 2022, a mattress salesman inspired Alex to pop the question.
