It was a cold fall day, the leaves starting to turn orange before they began to fall. The day started like most, Tyler needing his regular order from the local Starbucks, a nitro cold brew and a Chonga bagel. The cute woman ringing him up was the stunning, Jolene, but Tyler would keep his headphones in and not talk to anyone. Jolene began to admire him from a far and always thought he was cute as their paths continued to cross. When Jolene got the job at Apple, the admiration from a far developed into a full crush, however, Jolene kept her cool. It wasn’t until COVID restrictions hit where Jolene and Tyler started talking a lot more getting to work at the same station each day. Jolene made the first leap of faith asking to hang out outside of work and the first time they did is when the spark really flew. They instantly had a connection and it had felt like they had known each other for years. They talked for hours on end and could really open up to each other. As the months went by and their friendship continued to blossom, they couldn’t ignore the feelings that were clearly there. On June 20th, 2021, Tyler officially took jolene on their first date where he confessed he was “all in”. It wasn’t until a few months of dating they found out that Jolene’s grandma Bertie and Tyler’s great aunt Margie had been best friends and worked together at the elementary school Jolene went to. They lived just two blocks from each other and after further research, it turns out that Jolene and Tyler narrowly missed each other many times in the past. The multiple instances in fact proved that all along, there was some invisible string tying the two together. On their 3 year anniversary while on a trip to New York City, Tyler asked Jolene to marry him on June 20th, 2024. Jolene and Tyler will officially tie the knot on their 5 year anniversary June 20th, 2026. They are so thrilled to celebrate their love story with all of you.
