At our daughter's first birth party, my bestfriend announced that she had a surprise for Jayleen and had both David and I stand in front of the center table. She proceeded having us blind folded, or so I thought we were both being blind folded. I was completely lost with what was happening, especially since I thought David was being blind folded as well, I thought she got us a puppy or a huge gift for Jayleen. After some time, I was told to remove my blind fold and read the kids shirts. I remember reading both the kids shirts more than once and then it finally hit me, I got so emotional. The kids shirts said "Mommy Will You Marry My Daddy?" I was then told to turn around and I said "no" because I was in such shock. When I turn around there he was on one knee with the perfect ring, and I lost it. He asked and I shook my head yes as I mouthed "yes" to him. I found out soon after that he had the ring and the proposal planned out for MONTHS with my bestfriend, Jennifer, and it came out better than perfect.
