He was the Freshman, goofy kid that wore Beatles shirts and she was the Sophomore, dress-wearing girl he couldn't take his eyes off of. The very first time Brandon asked Jolee out, (yes, there were multiple attempts) was at the 2017 Homecoming Dance. Not only did she laugh in his face when he asked her to be his girlfriend, she sadly said no. After a few more attempts, she came to her senses. On October 23, 2017, he asked her out before school, went to breakfast, ate some chocolate chip pancakes, and the rest is history.

The first date Brandon ever planned was a sweet picnic where he bought canvases to paint the scenery of the lake we went to. He recreated this special moment once again. We had canvases and paint, and he even bought some easels. It was such a wonderful day to spend at the John James Audubon State Park in Henderson, KY. When we were cleaning up, he popped the question! (about time)
