San Diego Zoo
This is one of the best Zoo's in the country. We had a wonderful time there and highly recommend it to any nature lovers.
The Shout! House
Of all the places we visited in San Diego, this is the one we are most excited to go back to. It's a dueling piano bar with amazing musical talents who also put on a really funny and entertaining show. If you want to sit down, make sure to get there early in the night, because this place gets packed quick!
La Jolla Cove
Do you like marine life, cozy cafe's, and beautiful ocean views? The La Jolla Cove is the place to go. You will never see more seals and sea lions in your life. There are marine caves you can explore on jet ski's. And the view is stunning in every direction. There is also a museum of Modern Art if you are into that sort of thing.
Gaslamp Quarter
If you want nightlife, Gaslamp Quarter is the place to go. This is where you can find the San Diego Club Scene at night, and plenty of nice restaurants to visit during the day.
Ocean Beach
Do you want the laid back So-Cal beach town experience? Ocean Beach is the place to go. This surfer bro's paradise is located on the other side of the peninsula from where the wedding boat will be docked. If you want to go out at night but don't want the intensity of Gaslamp Quarter's Club Scene, this is the place to go! It is also the place we will be going for the wedding after party.
Old Town San Diego
If you want to pick up some authentic Mexican food while you are so close to the border, Old Town is the place to go. There are plenty of Mexican Restaurants, shops, and live mariachi bands in the Old Town Market. If you go to a restaurant called Casa Guadalajara, make sure you order the flan.
