Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. Please look for the yellow church and enter the front wooden doors. We ask that you arrive by 3:45pm, to allow yourself enough time to park and find your seat. Please be mindful of Charleston traffic. It's a busy time of year, so allow plenty of time for travel. Guests will not be seated after the ceremony starts.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is black-tie optional. For ladies, would love for you to come wearing color! Think springtime with fun prints and florals.

Question

What's the best way to travel to Charleston?

Answer

Charleston International Airport (CHS) is the nearest airport, located about 16 minutes via car from the wedding ceremony (without traffic). For those driving, Charleston is easily accessible via I-26 or Highway 17.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’re excited to share that we’ve coordinated a special discount at The Charleston Place for your stay. Please note that availability is limited, so be sure to book soon. Additionally, we’ve provided a list of alternative hotels in the area on our website for your convenience.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

You know we love your kids! However, due to the intimate nature of our wedding, we can only accommodate immediate family nieces and nephews. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for details about your RSVP. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us!

Question

What about transportation and parking?

Answer

Just a quick note regarding parking and transportation for the event: both The Citadel Square Church (Ceremony Venue) and Edisto Hall (Reception Venue) have ample parking available for guests! We will not be arranging transportation, and please note that the drive between the ceremony and the reception venue is approximately 25 to 30 minutes. We do encourage guests to use Uber or Lyft.

Question

What is the phone policy during the ceremony?

Answer

We respectfully ask that you refrain from taking any personal photos or videos during the ceremony and that you please silence and put away your phone. We have hired a wonderful photographer, Kelli Naisang, to capture these special moments for us.
