Getting to Nantucket

Flights to Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK): Nantucket has its own airport that is serviced by a number of airlines. Flights on the larger airlines can be booked either through their respective websites or aggregation sites like Kayak, but flights through the smaller airlines will need to be booked directly through each airline's website. Ferry from Hyannis to Nantucket: Vacation starts once you get on the ferry - each ferry offers a bar & snack service and great views as you pull into the Nantucket Harbor. There are two main ferry services to Nantucket, both of which depart from Hyannis, MA. You'll likely find it easier to leave your car on the mainland and get around via taxis/uber/lyft. Steamship Authority (1-hour high-speed passenger ferries & 2-hour slow passenger & car ferries) Note: If you do plan to bring your car, booking a car reservation early is required Hy-Line (1-hour high-speed passenger-only ferries) *Booking round-trip ferry reservations early is highly encouraged.

Getting Around the Island

Ubers and Taxis are readily available across the island and are an easy way to get around. We do suggest calling in advance, or (if in Town) walking to one of the taxi stands. Taxi Stands in Town: - Main Street Taxi Stand, Main Street / South Water Street & Washington Street - Steamboat Wharf Taxi Stand, At the Steamship Authority - Hyline Taxi Stand, At Straight Wharf The Island Shuttle The Wave, the island's public shuttle system which runs regularly with routes all over the island. It's a great way to get around the island, with convenient pick up/drop off locations and frequent trips at a great price point. The shuttles have bike racks as well! Note: Cash only. There is also a shuttle from town to our wedding location at the Wauwinet that runs every hour. You can hitch a ride from the Nantucket Visitor’s Center on 25 Federal Street, there is also a schedule posted there as well!

*room block fully reserved* There are a wide range of options on Nantucket, from quaint B&Bs to swanky hotels, even house rentals on VRBO and AirBnB. September is still a busy time of year on the island, so we suggest reserving rooms as soon as possible.
