We're getting married!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗪𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝘁 We first met as high school classmates and we're even part of the same dance group, but we never really connected back then. It wasn’t until February 2019 that our paths crossed again at work. He was in IT, and I was in accounting. Part of his job involved setting up account access for new hires, and when he came across my name, he reached out to confirm if I was starting to work at the same company. We caught up, became friends, and as we spent more time together, he developed feelings for me and began to court me. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 After a series of ‘no’s,’ he continued to court me until I could no longer say no to him. I planned to say yes to him on his birthday, November 15, 2019. He was supposed to pick me up after our department’s Christmas party, but the traffic on EDSA was terrible. He was coming from a final job interview in Shaw, and by the time he arrived, it was past midnight. Instead of a simple “yes” on the 15th, we officially became a couple on November 16, 2019. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 Fast forward to May 10, 2023: we were on our third year together, and we were in Boracay with friends. He was going to propose, and I had somehow found out about it a few months earlier. I stumbled across his messages with his best man, and my heart raced—I was excited but also nervous. I knew it was coming during our trip, but I didn’t know when. I made sure to get my nails done before the trip, just in case. While I was taking pictures with the girls along the shore against the sunset, I turned around and saw him kneeling with a ring. “Will you be my forever?” he asked. I said yes, tears in my eyes. Our friends cheered, and it was one of those perfect moments we’ll always remember. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
