FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Out of respect for the Church, please dress modestly and formal. Men: Suit and tie. Women: Formal dress that covers knees both sitting and standing, no low V- neck or open back, sleeves that cover shoulders, no leg slit, head veil provided.

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

There are FREE cabins for guests to stay Friday through Sunday! You must bring your own linens (sheet, warm blanket, pillow, sleeping bag, towel, etc.). The cabins do NOT have electricity or running water, but there are large men's and women's bathhouses. The majority of cabins have 8 beds each with plenty of space. Depending on interest, cabins will be shared with others. We will keep in touch with cabin assignments in advance. Here is a link to the virtual tour of the cabin: https://tours.americansummercamps.com/winnebago/ Click on the 'Bunk Interior' picture to see the 360 view of the inside of the cabin. Please let us know when you RSPV if interested!! In addition, there are hotels in the Augusta area such as Maine Evergreen, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn, and others.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Ceremony: There is a parking lot behind the church as well as street parking, but we would encourage carpooling if possible. Reception: There is parking at the campground.

Question

Is it an open bar?

Answer

Of course it is, but please bring cash to tip our bartender since there's no ATM at the campground!
