What food will be served and what if I have dietary restrictions?

Are we allowed to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Of course, please just be considerate and mindful of the fact that we have photographs of our own to help capture those special moments! If you use social media, help us share the love with our wedding hashtag #JoinTheDerkSide

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting the ceremony will be outdoors. Western NY weather can be unpredictable so we suggest brining a light jacket just in case! The reception will be outdoors but there will be an event tent with sides and heaters. We will also keep a fire going all night!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
