Their Story

February 24, 2024

He was a Massachusetts boy; she was a Miami girl... can I make it any more obvious? LOL just kidding, that was definitely not the case. Kevin wanted a fresh start and Miami seemed to be the ideal spot since his sister was living in Miami and Kev had a buddy who could get him a job as a server so it was a win/win for him. Kev worked at the restaurant for about three years before making his way to selling Merchant Cash Advances. Kev’s former boss at the time decided to take a trip to Vegas along with some other friends where they met another business owner, riding doom buggies in the middle of the dessert. Long story short, Kev’s former boss and this business owner hit it off when they realized they both lived in Miami and decided to start a business together. Sandy at the time was working for a company that had 300+ employees while finishing her last year of college. She was close to leaving her company because of how saturated it was, before her manager told her their boss was launching a new business and wanted to test some people at this new business to help build it up... that business was... you guess it: Merchant cash advances (MCA’s). Sandy gladly volunteered and after a week working in the MCA industry, Kev’s former boss extended a position to Sandy and the rest was history. Sandy and Kev were coworkers, became friends, and soon after dating. He was a salesman, and she was a project manager and somehow, it just worked. Flash forward, four and a half years later, Kev proposed to Sandy in the most surprising way... AFTER going on a trip to San Diego (a spot she chose) and Las Vegas (a spot he obviously chose) he had the house decorated to surprise her with a proposal. That proposal took place after flying on a red eye getting IN at 7 AM on 2/24/2020 and a day after her aunts passing. It was a delicate time in her life but it was everything she wanted. Something intimate, “home-y”, beautiful and a "light" after her loss. After she said yes… about an hour or so later, she went to her OBGYN to confirm her pregnancy with their daughter Layla. She was 7 weeks pregnant. So here we are. They are finally tying the knot on 2/24/2024 exactly 4 years after getting engaged, two kids, two fur babies later and 9 years total together. We wouldn't have it any other way and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
