The story starts in the first week of August when Jacob and I both were exploring on Bumble, swiped right and became a match! After talking for a little, we decided to go on a date and made plans for Friday the 10th. The day came and Jacob asked if dinner at 8:30 would be good. Wanting to seem cool and not high maintenance, I agreed and secretly ate before Jacob came to pick me up. I changed just about 19474 times, and when I walked down the stairs the first thing Jacob said was “I had a feeling you would be tall.” So cute right!! Jacob drove us to Saviano’s in Euless and we were told that there was a 2 hours wait!! Big bummer! So Jacob turned to me and asked where I wanted to go, and that’s when I had to come clean about eating before he picked me up #oops After some discussion, we decided to go ahead and go over to Andy’s, the spot of all spots, and pick something to eat around there. On the way, Jacob spotted California Pizza Kitchen and we stopped there to eat! After an appetizer for me and some pasta for Jacob, we headed over to Andy’s for some dessert. We spent a couple hours at Andy’s, talking and laughing and getting to know each other. Around 11:45, my dad texted me and said I had to come home even though Jacob asked if I wanted to go back and watch a movie, so we settled for heading back to my dad’s. Once there, we picked out National Treasure starring Nicholas Cage and watched while sitting on separate couches because Jacob is silly. When the movie was over, we sat and talked until 6am when we both got tired enough to say goodnight. Two days later, on Sunday, we decided we had to go out again before I moved back to Arkansas for my junior year at Harding. We went to get a skillet cookie at Chili’s and then drove to see the Incredibles 2. After the movie, we stood in the parking lot for hours and decided that we’d go out again when I got back from Arkansas during our next break! We started dating long distance after that and the rest is history!
