Travel Note
Sedona does not have a commercial airport, so we recommend that you fly into Phoenix for the wedding. The drive time from Phoenix to Sedona is about two hours and there are a variety of options to get you from the airport to your hotel. Guests may also be able to utilize the small airport in Flagstaff, AZ depending on where you live. The drive from Flagstaff to Sedona is roughly 45 minutes. CAR RENTAL Because transportation options are somewhat limited, you might want to consider renting a car so you can easily explore Sedona while you are in town. Here are the directions you can follow from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport: Take I-17 North / Flagstaff At exit 287, Turn LEFT onto AZ-260 west toward 89A Turn right on AZ-89A and continue into Sedona, Arizona SHUTTLE SERVICE You can take a shuttle from Phoenix to Sedona for around $55 dollars per way. Ask the hotel when you book your reservation for a recommended shuttle service, or check out https://www.sedona.net/shuttles for more information. EXPLORING SEDONA The easiest way to get around town is by rental car, but there are taxi services available for anyone who wants to explore without worrying about driving! If you want to take a taxi, you will have to call to schedule rides in advance and they usually charge a flat rate. The best company to use is QuickRides. While Uber and Lyft are sometimes available, the service can be spotty so guests are encouraged to utilize the local vendors. Pro Tip: If you choose to drive, watch your speed! They are serious about speed limits in Sedona!
