FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP online as soon as possible, but no later than May 5, 2021. If you are still uncertain about your ability to attend come May 5th, please just let us know.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is "dressy casual". However, we want you to be comfortable more than we want to tell you what to wear! A sundress, long or short, cocktail dress, or slacks and a nice blouse would be great for women. For the men, a suit or slacks and button down shirt would do just fine! It is not required to wear a tie or sport coat, but please feel free to do so. Please keep in mind our venue is all outdoor and it may get chilly in the evening.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love children and our wedding wouldn't be complete without a special few! Children are invited if it is indicated on your invitation. If your invitation does not include a child and you need to bring one, please just let us know.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please feel free to arrive as early as 3:50pm, but no later than 4:15pm.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Our venue has a parking area directly outside the reception site! Please just follow the signs and park in the designated parking area. All parking is self park, no valet. There are also handicap spots available for those in need. You are allowed to leave your car overnight in the parking lot of the venue as long as it is picked up by 11:30am the following day.

Question

I have a food allergy? Can I make a special request?

Answer

YES!! If you have a food allergy and we are not aware, please let us know as soon as you can so we can make sure you are accommodated.

Question

What Covid19 precautions are being taken at the wedding? Do we need to wear masks, get tested beforehand?

Answer

UPDATED 4/30/21: We will not require guests to be tested for Covid19 prior to coming to the wedding. Masks at the wedding will be optional. Venue staff will be wearing masks. Please be advised our venue is entirely outdoor and there is plenty of room to socially distance. Covid19 transmission in Ventura County has significantly decreased and over 60% of our RSVPed guests have already been vaccinated against Covid19. We anticipate this number will increase as well. We do ask that those who feel sick the day of the wedding please stay home, even if you RSVPed to come. Please rest assured that we do not take Covid19 lightly and we want all our guests to feel comfortable and safe. We plan to have hand sanitizer available and we will not stop those who want to wear a mask from wearing one. As things change, we will UPDATE THIS PAGE, so check back regularly. If you do have any concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Question

Is the wedding proceeding as planned? Will this be different from a regular wedding?

Answer

UPDATED 4/30/21: Our wedding is currently proceeding as planned. Our venue is entirely outdoor and is hosting full events. Our wedding will include a ceremony and full reception, both of which are now allowed by Ventura County. Ceremony seating will be in rows, but with plenty of space to socially distance. We will seat families together at the reception to decrease "mixing" of households when needed and if requested. The dinner will be a buffet, but will be managed safely and will likely be served by event staff, who will be wearing masks. We will have a dance floor (and drinks!) for those interested. As things change, we will UPDATE THIS PAGE, so please check back regularly. As always, please bring any and all concerns to us. We want this to be a happy time and we want all our guests to feel safe.

Question

Can I change my RSVP?

Answer

Absolutely! If you need to change your RSVP for any reason, go back to the RSVP page on this website and resubmit your RSVP just like you did the first time.

Question

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

We are registered at Zola.com, Macy’s and Wayfair.com. You can find the link to our Zola Registry under the "Registry" tab of this website. This page also has also directs links to our Macy’s and Wayfair registries. Please feel free to purchase a gift directly from any of our registries and it will be shipped to us. Please do not feel obligated to buy us a gift or to bring anything to wedding itself. Your presence at our wedding is a gift in and of itself!
