HER STORY How do I begin, well I was definitely not expecting to meet someone special anytime soon. I had been working on myself, my goals and getting myself in a place of consecration before the Lord. I really this time just wanted to focus on finishing my education and becoming a homeowner (you know how we are after a bad break up). I prayed often and wrote petitions before the Lord about what I desired in a God mate. After one failed date, I kind of threw in the towel. A few days later, my bestie Gerovanie introduced me to DeMarcus. It was very sudden how everything had began to unfold after that and I realized this was certainly something special. We talked on the phone for 2 days and instantly connected as good friends. DeMarcus moved to Jacksonville a week later and not long after that he asked me to be his girlfriend. We grew together in ministry, praying together often and being there through tough times. It meant a lot to see my son Israel and DeMarcus grow together as well. It all came together so beautifully. We begin to realize that everything we've prayed for was right before our eyes. I am sure that I met my soulmate, my best friend. DeMarcus is everything that I prayed, and I mean everything I could dream of and more. I'm so excited about this journey.

HIS STORY The day I met my best friend was mind blowing. I was in Birmingham, Alabama at the time transitioning to Jacksonville, Florida. When the Lord used a friend of ours to prophesy that she was my wife I was in disbelief at first. The Lord said to trust Him and give it a try! I said okay Lord, I'll trust you. Vontrail and I would spend hours on the phone talking. She was so passionate about the Lord, her love for Him drew me to her. Weeks went on, the Lord used another friend of ours to prophesy to me that the Lord wants me out of Alabama, at first I was in doubt, days later the Lord used Him again so I said, okay Lord. Days later, I prepared to make the seven hour drive to Florida. The whole ride there the Lord said He would be with me don't worry. So I prepared for my long journey. On the way there, the Lord used Roberto, Gerovanie, my Dad, my Mom and my love Vontrail to make sure I got there safe. Halfway there, Vontrail and I conversed until I arrived in Jacksonville. She was acting like a wife, making sure I got there safe, kept me company and made sure I stayed awake on the road. Then when I arrived, we went on a date. I knew right then on that first date that she was the one! I was so comfortable around her, she had such a beautiful smile, her spirit was so peaceful, she loves the love etc. When it was time to go, I didn't want to leave from her presence. I was so glad that the Lord blessed me with such an amazing, beautiful woman of God. I am truly thankful for what He has blessed us with. I'm getting ready to marry my best friend, my love, the woman of my dreams. I thank God everyday for her!!

DeMarcus is a good man. He held my hand through so much of what I've been through, became my best friend and has shown me true love again. The day he proposed was very meaningful. He put much thought into every detail. I got a call from him the day before, he said he wanted to do something for me and Israel. On 5/6/2020 made 6 months since we met. He took my son and I to Memorial Park in Jacksonville FL for a family picnic. We found an intimate place to sit. DeMarcus began to confess his love to me and got down on one knee and proposed. It was definitely a beautiful and unreal moment. It was so special, I felt the presence of God there with us the entire time. After many trails, DeMarcus began has proven to be faithful, understanding and committed to me as much as I have committed to him. He has melted away my fears of ever finding true love again.
