On Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 I (Rachel) was going to be on my way to Park City, Utah with family for a fun-filled skiing trip. On Saturday, December 15th, 2018, Collin decided he was going to do the most spontaneous thing he had ever done in his life: propose to me. On that Saturday, Collin decided he was going to come to Utah and propose (how sweet). He asked my wonderful, selfless mother for some major help. I am not sure how they pulled it off, but they did. On Wednesday, December 19th, we were off to Utah! We had a couple of days of snow powdered fun and one night we decided to go to a fancy dinner because I had just graduated college as well and the two of us had not celebrated by ourselves. We went to Tupelo Park City where the dinner didn't go as great as he had hoped... So onto plan B! As we are walking back to the condo, Main Street in Park City is all lit up for Christmas, it was beautiful. Collin takes me back behind some shops, where it is still lit up for Christmas. He says "Hey Rach", grabs my arm and turns me around. "You know I love you and I'm so proud of you" and honestly after that I blacked out because I knew what was coming. I saw him fiddling around in his jacket pocket, he pulled out the ring box, got down on one knee, and I immediately start bawling my eyes out. "Will you marry me?" he says and all I remember saying is "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh". I said "Yes!" and he put the most beautiful ring on my finger and I cried even harder, I couldn't stop crying. It was such a magical moment, a moment I will never ever forget.
