(As told by John) - Vanessa would say our story began 6 years ago in the fall of 2016, but for me it started a little bit before that. Vanessa was preparing to move into an apartment with a mutual friend. Our friend shared that she was going to have a new roommate and showed me Vanessa’s social media page. Needless to say, after seeing her on Instagram, I was very excited to meet Vanessa. Vanessa moved in with our mutual friend during the summer of 2016 and started to hang out with our group of friends. Vanessa fit into our group of friends like a glove. We saw each other frequently and began to develop a friendship. As our friendship grew, it became clear to us both that the connection we shared was something more. Vanessa and I went on our first official date in October of 2016 at US Sushi after asking her to lunch. From that moment on, we were inseparable.
