We’re Getting Married!

We both swiped right on Tinder, a match made in app dating heaven. Our first date was on a Friday night at Whiskey Kitchen in Nashville, TN. Tara was so tired that she told her sister she might reschedule, but (MOH) Brianne told her she needed to go! A few drinks turned into meeting up with Mike’s best man Thomas at another bar, and the whole night was a whirlwind! Their chemistry was undeniable, so much so that they spent the entire weekend together... and the rest is history!

Valentine’s Day was here and Tara had a pretty good hunch that Mike would be proposing tonight! The ring had been picked out by both of them months ago, but Mike was able to pick the stone himself without Tara seeing the final look. The ring finally arrived, Mike got so excited that he had to tell Tara he just went to pick it up! Haha So much for surprises... Mike and Tara sat down for dinner at Morton’s Steakhouse in a romantic, intimate dining room atmosphere (after being sat in the bar and politely asking to move). Mike was so nervous his eye was getting itchy and twitching, he couldn’t take it much longer! As soon as we both took a few bites of bread Mike said “Ok, lets do this!” In the middle of his proposal the waiter walks up and asks a question, totally oblivious to what’s happening! He quickly realizes that Mike is proposing and immediately panics and walks away quickly! Lol Mike finishes his proposal, Tara (crying) says YES! Mike opened the box equipped with the tiniest spotlight ever made and slipped that ring on her finger!
