We met at a tailgate party for the Iron Bowl (the states rivalry football game between it's two largest universities, Auburn and Alabama). I was a student at Auburn at the time and normally wouldn't step foot in Tuscaloosa, but we have determined fate brought us together. Nic says his irresistable charms couldn't keep me away from him, the way I remember it he followed me around like a puppy :) We've been inseperable ever since.

A year and a half after he bought the ring the day he teased would never come finally did! On our way to Cymru/Wales for Christmas, we had a long layover in Germany. We did some research and saw that the Mainz Christmas Market would be open for the last day of the holiday season. We walked around for a few hours and saw that a cafe with a view on the market was open (on a sunday in Germany, that is a miracle) so we went inside and Nic grabbed the only table by the window. As I was taking photos of the market from our table I looked back at Nic and saw he had pulled out the ring box. I told him yes before he could even ask and the rest is history. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
