How We Met

Pam and Tim met when they matched on Hinge. They talked online and on Facetime for a few weeks before Tim gathered up the courage to ask her on their first date. Their first date was at Port of Leonardtown Winery in Leonardtown, MD.

The Proposal

Tim managed to pull off a surprise proposal while on vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains. It was a freezing cold day in Tennessee, the day started with hours of hiking and exploring the national park. As the day was wrapping up, Tim had one more request. He wanted to check out one more hiking trail on the way out of the park. At the end of the hike Tim saw an old stone bridge and he really really really wanted to check it out. Pam was cold, tired, and ready to go back to the hotel after their long day. But she wanted to see why Tim was so excited about this stone bridge. What Pam didn't know is that Tim arranged for a photographer to be at this bridge and it was about to become the spot where he dropped on one knee and propose. Pam was completely caught off guard and tears started to flow. The surprises didn't end there. That weekend, Tim also arranged to have Pam's family and best friend/maid of honor Sarah waiting at his parent's house to celebrate the newly engaged couple.
