Our story started in a way that should have been a clue for what was to come—our first date was actually his brother’s wedding. Most people ease into meeting the family, but we skipped a few steps and jumped right in. Over the next four and a half years, we built a life filled with laughter, adventures, and countless memories together. Along the way, we brought home our dog Waylon, who quickly became the center of our world. Then later I surprised Josh with our two cats to complete our little family. Through every season, we’ve been each other’s best friend, biggest supporter, and favorite person to come home to. When it came time to propose, he stayed true to us—keeping it simple, genuine, and completely unexpected. On a random Sunday, he got down on one knee in the hunting room and completely caught me by surprise. It was one of those moments that instantly became one of our favorite memories and the easiest “yes” I’ve ever said. Now we’re counting down the days until we get to celebrate with all of our favorite people. Thank you for being part of our story—we can’t wait to make even more memories together on our wedding day!
