Things To Do Nearby!

Staying in Richmond for the whole weekend and looking for something fun to do when you're not at our wedding? Here are a few of Jack and Molly's favorite places that are all within walking distance (or a very short drive away) from Linden Row Inn:
Stella's Grocery

Stella's Grocery

109 East Grace Street, Richmond, VA 23219

Just around the block from Linden Row Inn is Stella's Grocery. It's a bodega style market with multiple locations around Richmond (this one is the "Downtown" location) and is owned by the same people who run the local favorite Greek restaurant "Stella's". All the prepared foods are incredible and it's also a nice place to grab a sweet treat or a bottle of wine.

Penny Lane Pub

Penny Lane Pub

421 East Franklin Street, Richmond, VA 23219

British pub about 4 blocks up E. Franklin St. Great if you're looking for a place to watch Soccer (it's a world cup year!) and have a beer.

Lemaire

Lemaire

101 West Franklin Street, Richmond, VA 23220

Arguably one of the nicest restaurants in Richmond. It's inside the famous Jefferson Hotel just two blocks down the street from Linden Row Inn. It's on the pricy side, but it's worth going to check out the Jefferson hotel's impressive lobby and the alligator statue by the main entrance, even if a fancy French restaurant isn't the vibe.

Lillie Pearl

Lillie Pearl

305 Brook Rd, Richmond, VA 23220

Awesome southern comfort food restaurant just a few blocks away from Linden Row across Broad Street. (Also the restaurant catering our rehearsal dinner!)

Cafe Rustika

Cafe Rustika

414 East Main Street, Richmond, VA 23219

Really popular hole in the wall German restaurant/schnitzel bar. They usually have a wait on Friday and Saturday nights, but it's so worth it!

Perly's

Perly's

111 East Grace Street, Richmond, VA 23219

Jewish deli around just around the corner with great bagels. If you wanna get up and grab breakfast there be ready to wait in a long line, it's always super busy!

Hotel Greene

Hotel Greene

508 East Franklin Street, Richmond, VA 23219

This place is so fun and a bit hard to describe. A 13 hole indoor mini golf course made to look like an old hotel that may be haunted? On Friday and Saturday nights there are usually character actors who wonder the course that you'll encounter and they tell you about the history of the old hotel. It's a really fun time! The entire course will take about 45 minutes to an hour to complete, but they don't take reservations so there is often a wait to get started. There is a bar in the lobby and tables to sit and wait though, so you can enjoy a beverage or some finger foods while you wait, and you can bring your drinks onto the course! Highly recommend.

Mama J's Kitchen

Mama J's Kitchen

415 North 1st Street, Richmond, VA 23219

Best soul food in Richmond! If you're a seafood fan the catfish is a must try and the mac and cheese is incredible.

The Jefferson Hotel

The Jefferson Hotel

101 West Franklin Street, Richmond, VA 23220

The Jefferson hotel opened in 1895 and was once a place where wealthy travelers returning to NYC from Florida from Vacation would leave their cute little baby alligators they brought as souvenirs from Florida after they grew too large (and dangerous) to travel with. Until 1948 you could find alligators in the Palm Court marble pools at the hotel. Now you won't find any large reptiles, only a very upscale hotel with a wonderful afternoon tea if you're looking for a lunch option, and a great gift shop. Although you will find little nods to alligators all over the hotel if you look for them (the giant statue out front is hard to miss). Even if you don't want to grab a bite in one of their many restaurants or have afternoon tea, the lobby is worth checking out because of the beautiful old architecture.
