When should I RSVP by?

Answer

October 11th is the final day to RSVP! If you're not sure if you can make it, just let us know so we know that you didn't just forget.

What should I wear?

Answer

The venue itself is elevated and chic, but we're blending that with the casualness of who we are. Meaning - we want everyone to look their best, but we're not picky on a color, pattern, style, or traditional guidelines. Where do we stay?

Answer

We reserved a hotel block for a Hilton hotel that is both affordable, nice, and the closest hotel to the venue (only a 7 min walk). The link to book + more details are on the Travel tab. If you prefer a hotel that is a little bit nicer, more 'Austin/boutique', or just in a different area of the city, there are no shortage of options! Our venue is in downtown Austin, so as long as you stay within a few mile radius, you'll only be a short Uber ride away. What time should I arrive?

Answer

4pm please! You will enter through the house and head to the back lawn. The bar will be open for you to get the party started right away. The house will be locked at 4:15pm, as the bride and groom will be getting prepared for the ceremony. If you arrive after 4:15pm, you risk missing the ceremony.

How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

Our venue is in the heart of downtown Austin so transportation will not be provided. If you're coming from out of town, we highly recommend booking a hotel that is within walking distance to the venue. Being downtown will also provide you access to anything else you might need - convenience stores, food options, things to do, etc.. If not, Uber is always your best bet. If you are not drinking and want to drive to the event, street parking is available but will be entirely hit or miss if anything is open at the time you arrive.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We're expecting the weather to be in the mid 70s. While the first half of the night will be mostly outdoors, the house will be open after the ceremony, if it's more comfortable inside. There will be plenty of room at the venue to store items if you'd like to bring a jacket or different pair of shoes (for the grass or late night) just in case.

Are there any other events for the weekend?

Answer

Planning a wedding in 5 months is enough planning for us so at this time, we do not have anything else planned. However, we want to soak in as much time with everyone, especially those who traveled to be here, so we'll definitely have some informal plans sent out as we get closer. Reversely, feel free to make our wedding the reason to visit Austin and make it your own vacation without any obligations to us!

'Food served informally'... will I be hungry?

Answer

We will have both passed apps and stations that serve food throughout the night. We won't have a sit down dinner, but there will be plenty of food to keep you full! You can expect a mix of our favorites and a way to customize your options to accommodate your personal preferences or dietary restrictions.

First time in Austin - what should I do?

Answer

We will work on gathering some favorites closer to the time of the wedding :)
