How do I get from Anchorage to Seward?

Answer

Seward is a 2/12 hour drive from Anchorage. You can also take a scenic train or bus ride. You can find info about the train and bus options on our Travel page.

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you are arriving in Seward by train and are not renting a car, we suggest staying somewhere in the center of Seward such as the Harbor 360, Hotel Seward, or the Best Western Edgewater. There are also many Airbnbs in the center of town. If you are renting a car, you can find many cabin rentals and bed and breakfasts in nearby Lowell Point. For a luxury option, we suggest the Seward Windsong Lodge which is located 10 minutes outside of town and offers a complimentary shuttle into Seward.
