There is a river-only option and river + lake. Both are great, just depends on how much time you have.

Chicago Architecture Boat Tour

Rent a bike (or get a day pass with Divvy) and bike along Lake Michigan.
Closest lake access point from our hotels is at Oak Street E Lake Shore Drive

Lakefront Trail

Walk along Dearborn St between Chicago Ave and Division to see some classic Gold Coast walk ups decorated for Halloween. They go all out.

Walk on Oak Street between Michigan and State St for some high end shopping.

Cozy, clubby restaurant a block away from the church. Great spot to grab a drink before the reception!
