This love story starts with an online dating app and a picture of a dog. Before Josh and Kristina ever met in person, they had only known each other from messaging back and forth on Hinge. Both had noticed each other's dogs in their posted photos, and conversation flowed. After several days of messaging back and forth, Josh asked Kristina if she would be interested in finally meeting up in person, and the two planned their first date (and first time meeting) at Legion Brewery in Charlotte, NC. The date went great and it led us here today.

Josh told Kristina he had planned a romantic day to celebrate their two year dating anniversary in Ocean City, Maryland. They got dressed up and started the morning with a walk on the beach at Assateague Island. Two women came up and said they were local photographers from the area and asked if they could practice their hobby by taking photos of the couple. Kristina looked at Josh, thinking it was a scam and about to say no, but little did she know this was all part of the plan. The photographers took a few photos of the couple and then some individual shots of Kristina while she did a yoga pose, facing the ocean. As she was being photographed, Josh got down on one knee behind her and when she turned around, she was filled with surprise and joy. After a moment of shock (and a few tears), she said a resounding, "YES!". We cannot wait to celebrate our love story with you at our wedding in July!
