Visit Multnomah Falls! You can drive through the scenic Columbia River Gorge on either the Washington or Oregon side and there are plenty of trails and water falls to enjoy
Extremely beautiful in the Fall. There are plenty of trails to enjoy, you can start your adventure by driving to Timberline Lodge (film location of The Shining) and taking in the view before taking off on bike or foot to explore.
Where we were engaged! You may even see people paragliding off of the sand dunes. The Oregon coast is very special to us, drive up and down the 101 or pick one are to explore- there is no right or wrong way to enjoy this area.
Any and all book lovers- this is a must for a Portland trip- yes you will need to venture downtown, but I promise it is not bad. The bookstore is multiple levels categorized by genre and somewhere I (Abby) take all of my visitors.
An adorable town! You will get an amazing drive down the I-84 and Columbia Gorge- you can stop for hikes along the way and end at Double Mountain Brewing in town. Hood River is one of the few towns Abby and Andrew would live in, and you will see why! Small town charm with untouchable outdoor access. Wind sports are very popular here, and you will likely see kiteboarding, windsurfing, wind foiling, etc. when sitting along the river parks.
World renown trout fishing! We go several times a year and if you are an avid fisherman this is worth the trip.
