Monique and Autumn met in 2009 while working together at Best Buy. They became fast friends, spending a lot of time together. Though Monique moved all across the country, their friendship stood the test of time and distance. Monique is also Ben's cousin! In December of 2011, Monique introduced Autumn to Ben after casually mentioning that they might hit it off. The introduction didn’t go exactly as planned, but Ben and Autumn would cross paths from time to time over the years and stayed friendly. Monique’s matchmaker dreams came true in June 2021 when Ben and Autumn went on their first date!
Shawn Nethercott
Best Man
Shawn is Ben's older brother. The two enjoy playing golf with their dad and try to make a point to hit the links once a week. They also share a passion for working out, going to concerts, and exploring new foods. Shawn and Autumn were introduced in September 2021 after Shawn moved to Missouri from California. They quickly bonded over their shared love of hiking and being in nature. In July 2022, the three of them hiked Mount Washburn in Yellowstone National Park while in town for a wedding. Be sure to ask them how easy that hike was!
