It all started at Minneapolis Pride in 2019—a perfect backdrop for fate to work its magic. Through mutual friends, we found each other in the best way possible: on the dance floor. From the moment we met, there was an instant connection—one that felt effortless, electric, and like we'd known each other forever. A few weeks later, Alex finally made the trip to visit Lauren in July 2019, and from there, it was clear—this was something special. Fast forward to 2020, and amidst the chaos of the world, we took the next big step: moving in together. While the world slowed down, we took it as an opportunity to explore it together—hitting the road and traveling to national parks across the country. We’ve always shared a love for nature, so getting to explore together made us feel even more connected. Since then, our little family has grown to include our sweetheart pup, Bronson, who joined Spartacus the Pug in keeping our lives full of love (and dog hair). Together, we’ve built a life filled with travel, dancing, exploring, and so much laughter—the kind that makes your stomach hurt and your heart feel full.
