Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Shuttle service will be provided from the Hampton Inn to the ceremony and from the ceremony to the reception. At the end of the night, transportation will also be available to take guests back to the Hampton Inn.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re keeping it classy with black tie optional! A tux or formal gown is wonderful, but a dark suit or cocktail dress is equally welcome.

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event, with the exception of children in our immediate family. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are many hotel options in Wilmington if you choose not to room at the Hampton Inn. Some favorites include: Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington Mayfaire Town Center Homewood Suites by Hilton Wilmington/Mayfaire Residence Inn Wilmington Landfall These options are close to Landfall (where the wedding will occur) and the Hampton Inn if you choose to use the provided transportation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! We welcome and encourage guests to use the provided transportation, but there is parking at both Kenan Chapel (for the ceremony) and the Dye Club (for the reception.) Please note that Landfall is a gated community. If you drive, you will need to let the guard know you are there for the Johnson/Martindale wedding and will be welcomed in! No prior planning or passes are required.
